Remove the top of Lifepod 5 to play inside!Ĥ. Includes three modules of the Safe Shallows biome - a tall coral ridge, a seafloor, and a cave system Lifepod 5, with a brick-built "5" on each side the Mobile Vehicle Bay a basic Seamoth, a Seaglide, flora and fauna of the biome and the player himself.ģ. Every aspect of this set features intricate details straight from the video game Subnautica.Ģ. Before heading back to his lifepod, our suvivor decides to explore one of the cave systems and soon encounters a Crashfish Plant, which opens up and releases the angry inhabitant inside! Can our survivor manage to outswim the fish or will he get caught in the Crashfish's deadly (and suicidal) explosion? You decide!ġ. He sets up his Mobile Vehicle Bay and builds a Seamoth, a one-person submersible, and explores the area, careful to stay away from the Gasopods and the clouds of toxic gas pods they release when threatened. It's time to start searching for a way back home but first he must forage for materials and supplies to survive until he is rescued. Our survivor leaves the safety of his lifepod and finds himself in a strange underwater world, where mineral-rich coral reefs and friendly fish and other fauna thrive in the shallow water. Unbenownst to him, he crash-lands on the ocean planet 4546B, luckily in the middle of the Safe Shallows biome. As always, I have included links to the pictures I used down below.ĭescription: Our lone survivor has narrowly escaped the doomed ship Aurora and has ejected to safety in Lifepod 5. However, this is my first time I am using the Bluerender software to render LDD images, so I hope that the images I have posted here are of better quality than before. How I did it: As with my first two sets - "Reaper Leviathan Attack" and "Survivors of the Degasi" - (check out the Degasi set on my page and make sure to smash that support button), I used the Subnautica Wiki as well as my own copy of the game and recreated portions of the Safe Shallows biome, Lifepod 5, and the Mobile Vehicle Bay using the LEGO Digital Designer. It is called "Exploring the Safe Shallows", and it depicts the player's first experience of the game, which is his lifepod crash-landing onto the ocean planet, 4546B, in the biome known as the Safe Shallows. Sunbeam, out.My Project: Based on the popular underwater survival game SUBNAUTICA, created by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, this is my third Subnautica LEGO set that I have created. We'll send our data to Alterra as soon as we can. My thought is that there should be a second "Canceled Rescue Attempt" message that plays instead of, or before the "Two Days Away" message, something along the lines of "We've gotten a better look at the debris field, and it's too dangerous to risk a landing, so we're gonna have to head home. Stand back, we're approaching the landing site now. "I don't believe it, there's someone down there! Aurora survivor, we have your PDA signature! I don't know how you walked away from that wreck, let alone survived since then, but we'll be happy to bring you onboard and hightail back to federation space. Cross your fingers the weather holds, and don't leave us waiting. We've made orbit, and scans have found a landing site on the planet that's only rated hazardous. You couldn't have picked a less convenient parking spot, but we'll be in touch as soon as we have a landing spot for you. We're scanning the planet for dry land as we speak. We've covered more than half the distance, so hold on in there. "Sunbeam, broadcasting to all survivors of the Aurora. Sunbeam out." *talking to crew* "What else can I say? We're a six seater and we aren't even slightly equipped to handle this? Our pilot last attempted a planet landing in the academy simulator? It's a bad situation, but so are all the alternatives." We just picked up a massive debris field at your location. We've tracked your distress signal, but your ship's left a giant debris field up in orbit, we can't attempt a landing. Damn charter's going to have us wasting our profit margin running errands for Alterra."ġB, Canceled Rescue Attempt: "Aurora survivors, this is trading ship Sunbeam. See what the long-range scans pick up in the meantime. Aurora, I'm on the far side of the system, it's going to take more than a week to reach your position, do you still need our assistance? Over. They run out of engine grease, they send an SOS: you offer to help, they don't pick up. Originally posted by Subnautica Wiki:First Contact:ġA: "This is Avery Quinn, of trading ship Sunbeam.
